Brewers Rally
Milwaukee erases a four-run deficit to beat Tampa Bay 5-4, taking a 2-0 World Series lead over the Rays.

Milwaukee closed a four-run deficit to beat Tampa Bay 5-4 on Saturday. The Brewers now lead the World Series 2-0.
Sal Frelick tied it in the sixth with a home run off Ian Seymour, his first in a span of 103 plate appearances, according to NBC Sports and the Associated Press. Cooper Pratt lined the go-ahead single in the seventh. The 22-year-old rookie drove in Brice Turang off reliever Kevin Kelly, NBC Sports reported.
Tampa Bay built its 4-0 lead in the first off Brewers rookie Logan Henderson, helped by a throwing error from Pratt, USA Today reported. Then the Rays fell apart. First baseman Jonathan Aranda let a foul pop bounce out of his glove and botched a grounder in the fourth. Center fielder Chandler Simpson muffed a pop fly. Catcher Liam Hicks got thrown out at home trying to score, according to USA Today.
Milwaukee answered fast. William Contreras and Garrett Mitchell drove in runs in the bottom of the first, USA Today reported. David Hamilton cut the gap to 4-3 with an RBI grounder in the fourth, and Frelick's homer tied it an inning later, the Associated Press reported. Henderson, working on 11 days' rest, gave up four runs, three earned, over three innings, NBC Sports reported. Rays ace Drew Rasmussen allowed three runs and six hits over 3 2/3 innings. It was his shortest outing since July 9, according to NBC Sports.
"I guarantee you one thing, man: nobody in this clubhouse wants to play the baseball we've played the last couple days," Rays third baseman Junior Caminero told USA Today.
Aaron Ashby closed out the ninth. He struck out Yandy Díaz on a checked swing after Jonny DeLuca doubled, NBC Sports reported. USA Today identified the pitcher on that final out as Trevor Megill.
Tampa Bay entered the Series leaning on closer Bryan Baker, who tied for the major league lead with 41 regular-season saves and had allowed just three baserunners over seven scoreless postseason innings, according to MLB Trade Rumors. Baker did not pitch Saturday.
"The game's speeding up on us right now," Rays center fielder Jonny DeLuca told USA Today. "We've got to be able to slow it down and do our jobs and clean everything up."
Game 3 is set for Monday night at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida, NBC Sports reported. Of the previous 57 teams to take a 2-0 World Series lead, 46 went on to win the title, according to NBC Sports.
